LRCC announces November election endorsements for LCC Board of Trustees and Lansing School Board

The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (LRC-PAC) has announced its endorsements in the November 8, 2016 General Election in races for Lansing Community College Board of Trustees and Lansing Public Schools Board of Education. The endorsed candidates are:

  • Lansing Community College Board of Trustees – Robert Proctor
  • Lansing Community College Board of trustees – Larry Meyer
  • Lansing Public Schools Board of Education – Nino Rodriguez

“The role of educating the next generation of talent in building a great region cannot be overstated,” said Steve Japinga director of government relations for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC). “Each of these candidates has developed a track record in sharing the value we place on education and the ability to work collaboratively in developing sound policies for the students of today and into the future.”

LRC-PAC is the non-partisan political action committee of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, representing more than 100 businesses in Meridian Township and over 1,100 businesses in the tri-county region. The objective of LRC-PAC is to endorse candidates committed to the principles of free enterprise, economic growth and a pro-business philosophy.
