South Lansing Business Association honors 3 notable

business professionals at 29^th annual awards reception

LANSING, MICH.  — The South Lansing Business Association will host its 29^th annual awards reception May 21 at Chisholm Hills Banquet Center, 2395 Washington Road. It begins at 5 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. A silent auction will be held to benefit Carefree Medical & Dental; entertainment will be provided by Mike Skory. The awards presentation will start at 6 p.m., with Walt Sorg serving as the master of ceremonies.

Winners this year are Mary Ellen Sheets, founder of Two Men and a Truck, Business Person of the Year; Dr. Barry Saltman, Carefree Medical & Dental, Community Service Award; and Jan Mayhew, Alfreda Schmidt Lifetime Achievement Award.
